Louise Denton is a landscape photographer based in Darwin - the perfect base for exploring the remote wilderness regions of the Top End and wide-open Northern Territory. Louise spends as much time as possible in the great NT outdoors - hiking, camping and exploring through all seasons. Her favourite time of year is the dramatic wet season - although it poses logistical problems at times, with flooding, cyclones and oppressive humidity - it also provides a vibrant and everchanging canvas. Storms, colour and a landscape that comes alive - a contrast to the drier months that most visitors experience. She loves to share the beauty of the lesser known NT through her photography, which is available in her books and as prints on her website.
